Founders Story

The Core of Our Story
It started with two people—and a lot of "what ifs."

Two first-generation Americans with big dreams and completely different journeys that led to one shared vision: building Core from the ground up.

One started in economics and healthcare research at the University of Michigan.

They spent years studying economics and pre-med, launching their career in healthcare research while balancing family expectations and a curiosity for business and entrepreneurship.

But a "what if" kept lingering:
What if there was a way to combine problem-solving with leadership? What if success could be built, not inherited?

That curiosity eventually led them into finance and startups, where they gained firsthand insight into what makes businesses grow—and what holds them back.

The other began in human development and people-centered leadership at the University of Texas.

Originally also on a pre-med track, long nights in the lab and a humbling round with Organic Chemistry sparked a pivot to Human Development & Family Sciences.

But another "what if" followed:
What if a career didn’t have to follow a traditional path? What if building teams and solutions could create a different kind of success?

After working in early-stage companies and learning the ins and outs of growth, they discovered a passion for building things: teams, systems, solutions, and success stories.

The Evolution of Core
Core was officially established in 2018, starting as an online agency focused on providing staffing and sales support for call center clients. The model worked well for remote campaigns—but when the pandemic hit, it revealed a deeper insight.

Businesses—and customers—craved human connection.

After the Global Pandemic, our founders recognized the need to pivot. Core transitioned from virtual-only operations to building in-person teams and campaigns. By focusing on face-to-face engagement and creating personal connections, Core was able to deliver stronger results, better customer relationships, and more sustainable growth for its clients.

What started as a remote agency became a people-first, connection-driven firm.

So... why Core?
Because two people were tired of the corporate gray areas, the vague titles, and the “you’ll get it once you’re in it” cultures.

They built Core to be different:

Honest, not buzzword-heavy.
